These gluten free Butter Cookies are so tender they will melt in your mouth. With only five ingredients, the dough is very easy to make. Yet these cookies can be shaped and decorated in so many ways that it will appear as if you’d been baking for days. A tray of these beautiful cookies are sure to impress the guests. I? actually ended up NOT doing the cookies..it turned out to be too crazy at my house to make any types of cookies…Sooo, I made the Rolo turtles candy with gluten free pretzels. They were a hit! I made them also with Reese’s small peanut-butter cups. (They DO NOT work with the Hershey kisses with the caramel in the middle) I plan on making them for the rest of our family get-togethers. ^_^

I don’t envy you. 300 cookies can be daunting. I’m a little tired just having baked 6 dozen cookies for? my daughter’s bake sale tomorrow. And those were just simple chocolate chips. Good luck with getting it all done.

My grandmother called them spritz cookies too. This recipe works really great out of the cookie press.?

Thanks. We used? to call the cookie press cookies Spritz. I ate them as a kid. This looks like a great recipe for my 23 year old (both with Celiac) and I to make for Christmas.

I like? that you used the scraps to make those jelly filled cookies. I’ll have to try that.

    hunger!!!!!!?

Katie, these are so good. But, I’ve gotta warn you that they are very delicate. If you’re going to be baking with Lilly, I’d steer clear of the cookie cutter ones. The cookie press and the little balls with jelly are the easiest to do. In the future I’ll be working on a more sturdy? dough for those of us that have kids that want to help.
