@thepixieful – there are many thyroid tests and many different reference ranges, depending on the lab used. I would need to know the specific test, as listed on the report sheet, in addition to the reference ranges.

Then I’d be happy? to give you more data.

    Best,
    Dr Vikki

Thank you so much for your answer, and also this quickly -I’m soo grateful.(I felt a little silly asking, not that I should know these things, but still.) And thank you so much, again, for all the information you provide, obviously more people benefit from this than give a feed back. This thing? you’re doing (on your own or with a team, either way), is truly awesome. / I’m outside the US so I might not be able to call, but I’m eager to watch / read all the available info you share. All the best!!!

@vellerb – Thank you so much for your question. No, allergy tests are not the same as testing for gluten sensitivity or celiac disease.

Gluten intolerance isn’t an allergy per se – the mechanism is different based on how the immune system reacts. A true wheat allergy might show up but a gluten problem would not.
Having thyroid disease plus your reaction to gluten definitely makes it a possible problem for you. Let me know if you’d like a free consultation – 408-733-0400. We’re? here to help!

Hello, I have to say, I like your videos so much!More and more things make sense now. My question is, do you think it’s possible to be gluten intolerant, yet have negative allergy test results for all the grains themselves?(I have a thyroid disease. I cut out all the wheet products a couple of months ago, only because they do seem to make me feel sluggish beyond acceptable, and whenever I eat wheet I feel worse again, so it’s pretty clear I do better without them.)Does grain test equal? gl. test?

I cut gluten out of my diet 2 months ago and my always enlarged thyroid has gone down by 75%. It is strange to feel my throat for the first time in ages. Thyroid meds keep going down too, 4 months ago I was on a .150 mg dose, now I am down to .1 mg of Levothyroxine. I will be looking into Armor. Thanks so much for the videos, gives me hope that? my poor thyroid can be whole again. 🙂
