Chicken Scarpariello is an amazingly easy one pot chicken and sausage skillet meal that offers something for everyone. There are enough vegetables in this dish to really feel good about serving it, yet it offers two kinds of meats to keep the carnivores from complaining. Scarpariello means “of the shoemaker” which implies that the ingredients are so humble a shoemaker could afford to make this one. Awesome, I hope you love? it.
Guess what? I am cooking tonight?
Thanks I think the hot peppers make the dish. The vinegar in the peppers really adds an element to the potatoes that gives them a warm potato salad? feeling.
Looks so pretty and I love the? addition of the hot peppers!
You’re so right. The potatoes and mushrooms were awesome in this dish. Nice and spicy, the way I like it. Unfortunately, the heat was a bit much for my young daughter. ?
Awww chicken thighs, bet the taters and mushrooms soaked up? all those flavors, this looks terrific!
@vogelklein11 Thank you so much for checking it out. I’m? glad you like it.
I know you like it spicy. You’re the one that got me thinking? about hot peppers in vinegar when you made those jalepeno burgers with the escebeche sauce. The closest thing I had in my fridge was hot cherry peppers in vinegar.

? Thank You, it was amazing especially if you like spicy food. My 10 year old daughter thought it was too spicy and I ended up having to make her something else to eat.
