Kathleen Gibson making yummy vegan gluten free bread is as easy as 1-2-3. 1 1/2 c very warm water 1 T yeast 2 T organic sugar 2 T ground flax 1/3 c water 1 T coconut oil 1/2 c coconut flour 1/2 c rice flour 1 1/2 c Bobs Red Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Flour 1 T xanthan gum 1 t sea salt In one bowl (I use a 4 cup measuring cup) put 1 1/2 c very warm (105 degree) water, 1 T yeast, 2 T organic sugar. Stir and let sit in a warm place until a thick foam appears on top. While the yeast is bubbling, in a smaller bowl mix 2 T ground flax, 1/3 c water and 1 T oil (I like grapeseed oil for this). Stir and let sit. Put dough blade in a food processor. Add 1/2 c coconut flour, 1/2 c rice flour, 1 1/2 c Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Flour, 2 t xanthan gum, 2 t sea salt. Mix well. If you don’t have all these flours, you can use 2 1/2 c of the Bob’s only, but the loaf is dryer and not as sweet. Add the flax mixture to the yeast mixture and stir. Open the top of the food processor, and with the processor running, gently pour the liquid into the dry ingredients. Mix well. Stop and scrape the edges and mix again until the dough forms a lump. Place dough in an oiled (coconut oil is a yummy choice) glass loaf pan. DO NOT USE NON STICK BAKEWARE. Let rise to just above the top of the pan. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes until golden. Let cool for at least 10 minutes and then run a table knife blade around the inside of the pan to loosen the loaf. The loaf will fall a bit and …

Hi Nature’s Fairy, Yes, Whole Foods should have coconut oil. If you can’t find it there, you can also order it at amazon. It’s best to get organic. : )~ Try it as a body? moisturizer, too!!!
Thank you so much for this? recipe! I am new to GF recipes,,I appreciate the time you put into this video and also for sharing it with us! Where do I buy coconut Oil? I have not found it at my local Food Store. Would Whole Foods sell it? Thanks!!
is yeast gluten free??
the gluten free flour? has garbanzo bean flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, white sorghum flour, and fava bean flour
maby2980, i don’t know if it will work without those two ingredients. the xanthan gum gives the bread some “spring”, the breadlike texture.? i think you’d be fine without the vinegar. if you have a dehydrator, i can do a vegan, gluten free, fermented free raw bread! <3
what flours does the bobs redmill? flour mix use?
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow!!!!!!!!!!!! good job. will it work? if i don’t use the xantham gum[fermanted] and if i dont use the vinegar[fermented]?
That bread looks great. Thanks for the tutorial. I’ll have to get myself a few? glass or ceramic loaf pans.
