Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Homemade Wonderful Bread Mix 1 2/3 c. warm Milk 110* (cow, rice, soy) 1 Whole egg plus enough Egg Whites to make ΒΎ cup (*note*) ΒΌ c. Melted Butter or Vegetable Oil 1 tsp. Cider Vinegar Place contents of package in a large bowl. I use a KitchenAid mixer bowl. Remove yeast packet. Add yeast to the warm milk ~ stir ~ let foam for 5 minutes add Eggs Melted Butter Vinegar Yeast/Milk mixture to the Bread Mix Use the Paddle (Not dough hook) Mix at medium speed for 3 minutes, scraping down sides of the bowl with a spatula as necessary. Place dough in a greased 9×5 nonstick bread pan. Smooth top of dough with a wet spatula. Cover with oiled plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until dough is level with top of pan. Approximately 25-35 minutes. Remove cover and bake in a 375* oven for 60-65 minutes (do not under bake). Cover with foil after 10 minutes to prevent over-browning. To test for doneness, tap top of loaf with fingernail. A crisp, hard sound indicates a properly baked loaf. Turn loaf out on to a wire rack and cool thoroughly before slicing. For even slices I used an electric table slicer. Freeze the bread for freshness. (*NOTE*) Helpful hint: Have eggs at room temperature ~ place the eggs in a bowl with warm water to warm them up.     If your hand mixer is strong enough that will work fine. You can also do it? by hand but you will need make sure you really mix it well and that is looks well beaten like I showed with the mixer. Its a really good bread. I just made the Bob’s Banana Bread,, it smells so good. I have that video on my pages as well in my “Cooking with Brenda” Playlist.     I just bought this mix. However, I do not own a stand mixer…can I just use a hand mixer or could I even stir? it by hand?

    I made a bread this weekend and did use? the Rice Vinegar and it came out fine,, Im not sure what other vinegars you can substitute?

    I have read that some ppl use Rice Vinegar in some Gluten Free Bread recipes,,,I havent tried it yet! I actually bought a bottle this week. I will? have to give it a try to see how it comes out! I’ll let ya know!!

    My Store just tarted to carry KA Flours and Mixes.. I did try the cookies and it was really good,, I also picked up a bread mix. Right now I need to slow down on how much baking Im doing,, LOL My freezer is full! πŸ˜‰ Im uploading a video that you may like,, its another Granola,, Oh my goodness it is soooo good! YT is being slow so not sure how long it will take to process! Do you have a Whole Foods near you? They sell mixes..I? like Bobs red mill the best so far! Let me know what you think of KA!
