How Do You Make Pizza Dough – Recipe- Gluten Free Too

This pizza dough is one of our families favorites. One recipe yields (3) 12″ round pizzas. If you would like to make this a gluten free recipe, please change the white flour to a gluten free alternative. Almost all forms of yeast I have found are also gluten free. However always check your labels. Making your own dough for pizza is time consuming but wonderfully satisfying at the same time. If you are going to make pizza dough, be sure to triple the recipe so you can use one batch and freeze remaining dough for a later date. You can freeze the dough for up to two months and just take it out to thaw before using it. Ingredients: 1 pkg active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons out of a jar) 1-1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C) 3-1/2 cups bread flour (You can use regular white flour) 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoons white sugar Directions: In my KitchenAid Mixing Bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Just sprinkle on yeast and let sit for 10 minutes. At the end of ten minutes, stir any undissolved yeast. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 200 degrees. Using the paddle on mixer (Kitchen Aid), mix in olive oil, flour,salt and sugar on low speed for about a minute. Remove the mixing paddle and replace with a dough hook, Knead using the mixer on medium.. It takes awhile about 10 minutes. Add in a very small amount of flour until it reaches a pizza an elastic appearance and becomes stiff. Turn off oven! Turn the dough out into an olive oiled, oven proof bowl. Oil a
