People with Celiac Disease are at a higher risk for developing other autoimmune diseases such as Hashimoto’s Disease, Grave’s Disease, Addison’s Disease. The symptoms of CD and other autoimmune diseases overlap. Therefore, to attain optimal health, if one diagnosis is reached, it is important to check for other co-existing autoimmune conditions.
