I don’t see a problem with the chives or other herbs but the spinach might create a problem. I think it may release too much moisture but I’m not really sure? what would happen. I know the spinach could work in mini crustless quiches.
Is it possible to? spinach and chives in this as well??
In my previous response I forgot to tell you to make sure that the gf all purpose flour that you choose contains xanthan? gum which is needed to hold the biscuits together. The xanthan gum acts as the gluten in the recipe. GF bisquick contains the gum already. Many gf all purpose flours also contain xanthan gum but some do not.
If you cant get gf bisquick you can substute. 2 cups of gluten free all purpose flour, 1 tbsp of baking powder and 1 tsp of salt then follow the instructions from there. I do try to keep my recipes as easy as possible hence the channel name EZGlutenFree. I like to use the? gf bisquick as a self rising flour in many of my recipes. I consider all of my recipes REAL regardless of how easy they are to prepare. I don’t feel I’m cheating anyone by making things simple.
what do you do if you cant get a gluten free mix like Bisquick . anyone can make bloody biscuits with a mix like that…
c’mon stop cheating GIVE US? REAL RECIPES!
Between the biscuits and the cheesecake, I’m in bad shape this week my? friend.
They look fantastic! I love Red lobster’s biscuits, they are the main reason I choose to go there, LOL I have one recipe I love, but I will definitely give this one a? try too! You can never have enough Cheddar biscuits recipes!!! 😀 They look so perfect and yummy, send me another dozen together with the cheesecakes please!
They’re really awesome out of the freezer too. But you have to freeze them? while they’re still fresh just after they’ve cooled.
I’ve never had those before either, but they look delicious! Great idea to make them gluten free – and I love how they can? be made ahead of time too 🙂
These are fantastic. When you put as much butter, heavy cream and cheese as I did how could it not be great. But they’re definitely not one? of my most figure friendly recipes.
I have never been? to a Red Lobster,, not sure if there are any around me! These Bisquick looks wonderful!! YUM!! Great job!!
You’re a very very good girl? Victoria if you can stay away from these. They are just so bad for maintaining a healthy diet especially without the low fat swaps.
Thanks for stopping by Glen.?
Biscuits I am all in? looks great!
Thanks for stopping by Rich. Yep, they’re pretty much just like? the originals.
I have had those before! I bet you could not tell the diff between the regular one’s and gluten free ones! Great biscuits Anne!?
Absolutely. Regular Bisquick would make a regular version of this recipe. And? they’d be cheaper to make too. Regular Bisquick is less expensive than the gf version so unless you’re allergic to gluten I’d just use the regular stuff.
Yuum!? so basically if I used regular bisquick it would be the regular version? I love some gluten lol looks great!
Haha, You’re right Ken. They’re ridiculously? addictive.
Was wondering if morphine was a secret ingredient, these are addictive!?
This one will get the hubby smiling. They’re? awesome.
You’re? welcome. Gf Bisquick is just so versatile. I turn to it all the time.
Hahaha, That would be? hysterical.
Gluten free bisquick is one of the best products ever for those on a gluten free diet. Thanks for sharing? this recipe.
Great video! This is one thing my husband has missed SOOO much since not being able to eat gluten.? Thank you so very much for this recipe! 🙂
